The title is: What Pixels Hide

What are the limitations of digital images? This experimental website proposes to get under the pixels

Nowadays, we look at nature through digital images, often produced by satellites. Their binary language gives a fragmented representation of reality. This website borrows Google Earth's interface to invites users to get inside the satellite image. Upon zooming, we explore the agency of the pixel, the image's smallest element to abstract our perception of nature. The website was coded from scratch using a Processing script to generate the tiled views.
